Obituary

Pauline C. Bonghi, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Wednesday September 2, 2009 at N. F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Reynoldsville, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Carmela (Giordano) Bonghi.

Pauline came to Niagara Falls as a child with her family and attended local schools including Niagara Falls High School. She was employed by the Carborundum Company where she worked in the Bonded Abrasive Department for forty one years until retiring in 1983. Pauline liked traveling and the opera but her greatest pleasure was being in the company of her family and friends.

Pauline is survived by one brother Nicholas (late Mary Jane) Bonghi of Niagara Falls, NY; and was predeceased by one brother, James (late Florence) Bonghi, one sister Connie (late Matthew) Keene and one cousin Jennie Pasqualichio. She was affectionately known by Aunt Paul to her nieces and nephews, Dr. John (Joan) Bonghi of Youngstown, NY; David (Elizabeth) Stebbins of Buffalo, NY, Louise Keene of the Town of Lockport, NY, Nicholas (Lynn) Bonghi of Niagara Falls, NY; Roger Bonghi of Phoenix, AZ; and is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday September 5th at 12 noon in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay O.S.F.S. officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Memorial donations may be made to the Child Advocacy Center of Niagara, N. F. Memorial Medical Center, 621 Tenth Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14302.
