Loving Wife and Mother


Pauline T. (Sostarich) Cadwallader, 90, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at her residence while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Frances (Zunic) Sostarich.

Pauline was raised and educated in Chicago, and worked for the George Pullman Co. before moving to the Niagara Falls area with her husband where she currently resided. She later worked as a bookkeeper for various retail stores. Pauline was a longtime member of St. Leo's Church in the Town of Niagara as well as their Altar and Rosary Society. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed ceramics.

Pauline is survived by her beloved husband of sixty eight years Lloyd Cadwallader, Sr., five children, Lloyd R. (Ruhling) Cadwallader, Jr.; Marie (William) Eckert; Dennis P. (Haeng Cha) Cadwallader; Joseph (Cindy) Cadwallader and James J. (Beverly Hess) Cadwallader; twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, one brother John (Sue) Sostarich and was predeceased by four siblings.

Private funeral services and interment in Riverdale Cemetery Lewiston, NY were held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094. Arrangements by M.J.
