Pauline "Paula" J. Murray, 68, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Sunday January 17, 2010 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Melrose, MA she was the daughter of the late Daniel C. and Alva (LePlant) Carter, and step-daughter of the late John W. Bruder.

Paula was raised and educated in Malden, MA. In 1975 she married Richard "Murray" W. Murray in Massachusetts and in 2001 they came to Niagara Falls, NY where she currently resided. Paula enjoyed traveling and especially liked camping with her family.

In addition to her husband, Paula is survived by one son David E. (Deborah) Murray of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Patrick Murray and Sean David Byrns, three siblings Jean (Walter) Donlon of Maine, Jimmy Carter and Nancy Bruder both of New Hampshire, one aunt Dolores Nicholas of Maine, one uncle Fr. Clarence LePlant of Quebec, Canada and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one sister DeeDee Carter and one brother David Carter.

Friends may call on Friday January 22nd from 3 – 7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Raymond Coolong officiating.
