Rev. Dr. Peter Del Rio, OSL, 62, of Niagara Falls, New York passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 and joined his beloved wife, Lani, in Heaven.

Peter was Minister of the Church of the Resurrection and served as both President and Vice President of the Board of Directors for God's Woman Vanessa Scott Outreach Ministries, Inc. for many years. He devoted his life to the service of others and was a shining beacon of God's love. He was a dedicated and loving husband and father who enjoyed cooking, carpentry, and walking his two dogs. Peter's love and kindness was deeply genuine, and he will be profoundly missed by those whose lives he touched so gently.

He is survived by his four sons, Cory and Cody Emmons, and Zachary and Micah Del Rio; his mother Sally (Eladio) Del Rio; his brother, John (Elise) Del Rio and his sister, Gloria (Renee) Rivera-Jacques, and several nieces and nephews. Peter was also the beloved brother-in-law of Rebecca and Dominick Farbo and uncle of Ellery and Mackenzie Farbo.

Rev. Del Rio was predeceased by his loving wife, Lani Emmons Del Rio; his father Eladio Del Rio and brothers, Ruben Del Rio and Raymond Rivera.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 20 from 2 – 6 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, New York, where funeral services will be held on Sunday at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
