Petrina M. 'Pat' Brockway, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Sunday November 11, 2012 at Northgate Manor Nursing Facility in Wheatfield, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late, Peter and Antoinette (Bruno) Micale.

Pat as she was affectionately known by family and friends was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls. She attended local schools and received her Master's Degree in Library Science from the University of Buffalo. On May 15, 1948, Pat married Clinton A. Brockway at the former Our Lady of the Rosary Church. For thirty two years, she worked as a librarian at the former Bishop Duffy High School, and later Niagara Catholic High School in Niagara Falls until her retirement in 1990. Pat along with her husband, had a passion for figure skating, and were members of the Artistic Skating Club. In her leisure time, she also enjoyed playing the organ. Most of all, Pat enjoyed being a homemaker.

In addition to her husband of sixty four years, Mrs. Brockway is survived by two sons, Daniel (Dana) Brockway and David (Mary) Brockway both of Lewiston, NY, four grandchildren, Daniel Brockway, Joseph Brockway, Christian Gordon and Sherry LoGrasso, four great-grandchildren, Daniel Brockway II, Logan Brockway, Lucy Gordon and Benjamin LoGrasso, one brother Frank (Rose) Micale of Niagara Falls, NY and several; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Angeline (late Matthew) Buchalski and Mary Micale.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, November 15th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Vincent De Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church 1055 North Military Road Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Lewiston, NY. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive Lockport, NY 14094.
