Philip P. Panepinto , 63, of Lockport, NY, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2021 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Donald and Viola ( Astolsfi ) Panepinto .
Philip was a longtime resident of Niagara Falls and a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. On May 25, 1996 he married his beloved wife, Judy ( Sarzyniak ) Panepinto and moved to Lockport. He was employed for 20 years by the Niagara Falls Board of Education as a painter.
Philip was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping. He also loved old - time classic cars, especially his Corvette. Above all, Philip was a big-hearted man who enjoyed helping out his family and friends . He also had an unforgettable sense of humor.
In addition to his wife of 25 years, Mr. Panepinto is survived by his son Brandon Panepinto ; his step-children, Michael (Mary) Hathaway, Steven Hathaway and Sandra Hathaway ; several grandchildren; his siblings, Donald (Tina) Panepinto and Michael Panepinto ; his special niece and nephews, Brittany, Ryan and Vincenzo Panepinto ; his mother-in-law, Audrey Sarzyniak ; three brothers-in-law, Charles (Debbie) Sarzyniak , William (Marian) Sarzyniak and Matthew (Cheryl) Sarzyniak ; as well as his beloved dog, Chloe, and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Panepinto was predeceased by his step-daughter, Teresa Hathaway and his brother-in-law, Larry Sarzyniak .
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 17 from 3 – 5 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY , where f uneral services will be celebrated on Monday, April 19 at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
