Phyllis I. Mis, 74, of the Town of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Felix "Fizzy" and Irene (Placek) Rajczak.

Phyllis attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On September 11, 1965, she married her beloved husband, John W. Mis, Jr., at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church. For many years, Phyllis owned and operated the former Phyllis Bridal Sweet on Main Street in Niagara Falls. She loved sewing, making clothes but above all, spending time with her cherished family and her yorkie, Dolly.

In addition to her husband of 52 years, she is survived by her children, John Mis III and Barbara Jean Erdos; grandchildren Stephanie (Joseph) Golonka, Amber Mis, John Mis IV, Breanna Mis, Travis Mis, Shelby Mis, Krisztina Erdos, and her great-grandson Joseph Golonka III; siblings, Edward (Beth Myrtle) Rajczak, Joseph (Terri) Rajczak, Vicki Fasciano, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings Barbara Jean (late Eugene) Pawlik, Andrew Rajczak, Sr., Kathleen Rajczak and Irene Rajczak.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you Niagara Hospice, especially her aide, Donna and nurse, Kerri for the care and compassion given to Phyllis.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 29 ^th from 3 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls. Phyllis' Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 A.M. in St. Vincent De Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2755 Military Road, Niagara Falls. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial offerings may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or the Wounded Warrior's Project.
