Phyllis "Pina" Mussari, 89, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Monday March 25, 2013 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Angelo A. and Maria Costantina (Paonessa) Mussari.

Phyllis was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. She was employed in the Housekeeping Department of the Niagara County Building in Niagara Falls. Pina, as she was affectionately known by her family, was a longtime devoted member of St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls as well as their Anime Sante Del Purgatorio Society. She was also a member of the John Duke Senior Society. In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing Bingo.

Phyllis is survived by her two sisters, Angelina 'Angie' (late Robert) Kujawa of Niagara Falls, NY and Jean (late Burton) Rosenberg of Lewiston, NY; one brother Joseph Mussari of Niagara Falls, NY; her nieces and nephews, Joseph Sbarbati, Jr., Cheryl Wrazin, Mary Grace Scarpelli, Robert Kujawa, Maurice Rosenberg, Philip Biamonte, Karen Smith, Thomas Biamonte and Mary Kay Biamonte-Schuman, as well as several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by four sisters and one brother, Rose A. Mussari, Theresa (Chester of Niagara Falls, NY) Krawczyk, Mary Mussari, Anita S. Mussari and Louis J. Mussari.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday April 1st at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane R. Klizek officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, 5285 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, NY 14092 or to Community Missions of Niagara, 1570 Buffalo Ave. Niagara Falls, NY 14303.
