Rachel A. Pazzalia, 79, of the Town of Niagara, passed away on September 3, 2020 at Elderwood at Wheatfield.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Elizabeth (Rose) Wilcox.

In December of 1961, Rachel married Orlando E. Pazzalia, Sr. in Niagara Falls.  Mr Pazzalia predeceased her in 2001.  Rachel was employed as a cook at the Niagara Falls Air Base and most recently at Justin Tyme Restaurant, retiring in 2006.  She enjoyed keeping up with current events, was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, but above all, cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Rachel is survived by her children, Orlando 'Buddy' E. (Darci) Pazzalia, Jr. and Domenick G. (Mary) Pazzalia; her grandchildren, Bryan (Alicia) Shepherd and Clifford (Angela) Shepherd; her great-grandchildren, Liam, Benjamin, Wyatt and Ava Shepherd; her siblings, Eileen (Clarence) Stevens and Kathy (Edward) Maxwell; her significant other of 15 years, Ross Livergood, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband of 49 years, she was predeceased by her siblings, Conrad (late Lois) Wilcox and Jacqueline (late William) Taylor.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8 from 4 -7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304 where funeral services will be held at 7 PM.  Interment will be held on Wednesday, September 9 at 11 AM at Acacia Park Cemetery, 4215 Tonawanda Creek Rd, North Tonawanda, NY 14120.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
