Ralph Benjamin Fitzgerald, 31, of the Tuscarora Nation and member of the Turtle Clan, went home to be with his heavenly father. Born in Lewiston, NY he was the beloved son of Michael and Lisa (Hummel) Fitzgerald.
Ralph attended Syracuse University and was a current student of Empire State University. He was a talented guitarist and also enjoyed playing the trumpet and euphonium. Ralph was an extremely intelligent young man who taught himself sign language and the Arabic and Russian language. Above all, Ralph most enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends. He will be remembered greatly as an exceptional, kind and loving person and will be dearly missed by many.
In addition to his parents, Ralph is survived by his sister Courtney (Brian) Green and brother Eammon Fitzgerald. He was the loving grandson of Benjamin and Kay Brayley, Florence (late James) Hummel, and the late Ralph and Theresa Fitzgerald. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Romeo, Savino, Major, Serenity, Bella and Raspberry, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 12th from 6 – 9 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Sunday at 2:00 P.M. in Tuscarora Baptist Church, 2088 Mt. Hope Road, Sanborn, NY. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
