Obituary

Randall James Pike, age 66, was born on June 7, 1955 in West Palm Beach, Florida.  He went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2021 while in the care of Kenmore Mercy Hospital.  He was the 2 nd child born to James David Pike and the late Shirley Marie (Haensgen) Pike.  On August 30, 1996, he married Winifred L. Roundtree, his best friend, lover and companion for life.

Randy accepted Christ into his life as a young man and found great joy in loving God and ministering to his people.  He was a faithful member of the Tabernacle Church in Orchard Park, NY.  He served in various ministries, such as the Men of Valor, Ushering, Hospitality, The Worship Team, etc.  He loved to praise and worship the Lord.  His anointed voice was a gift from God that ministered to many people. He enjoyed hunting and farming on his 25 acres of land in Hornell, NY.  He was an avid fisherman and very good carpenter.  He was the Owner of Pike's Improvements.  Whatever kind of work he did with his hands, God blessed it always to prosper.

Randy was blessed with great problem-solving abilities and skills.  He was a planner, an organizer and a leader in so many ways.   He received many certificates over the years from the Department of Labor and recognition letters from his superiors for his outstanding work ethic and accomplishments.  While working at Schoellkopf Health Center as a Program Assistant, he had the opportunity to minister to the elderly, play games, polish the elderly women's fingernails, and take them for rides in their wheelchairs.  He loved interacting with people and they loved him.  He worked at Union Carbide as a Maintenance Superintendent for 28 years until the plant closed.  He retired from Washington Mills in 2020 as a Stationary Engineer after 15 years of service. He was presently the Sole Proprietor of Emmanuel Handmaidens Professional Cleaning Service.  He attended the University of Wisconsin for Fish & Game Wildfire Management and NCCC for Business Administration.

Randy leaves behind to cherish his memories his beloved wife of 25 years, Winifred L. Pike; his children, Sara (Pike) and Troy Hengst of Tonawanda, NY, Sean & Staci (Hewitson) Pike of Lockport, NY, Mathew Pike of Lockport, NY, Christopher Brinson, Jarvis Elder and Terrencio Elder, all of Niagara Falls, NY; his grandchildren, Jackson and Emily Pike, Nathan, Owen and Julianna Hengst, Frankie Pike, Nathan Diodate, and Japria Elder, whom he raised from a baby; his father, James David Pike; his siblings, David and Sue Pike of Chiang Mai, Thailand, Diane (Pike) Boch & Bell Reller of Tuscon, AZ, and John Pike of Madison, WI.  In addition to his mother, Shirley Marie Pike, he was also predeceased by his sister, Theresa (Pike) Wofford.
