Raquel "Rocky" Perricelli, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2021 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Manila, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Pio and Maria Abella Reyes.

Rocky was raised in the Philippines where she met and married the love of her life, Luigi Perricelli, while he was serving in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War in 1964. Rocky later immigrated to the United States and came to Niagara Falls with her husband and children in 1972.

Rocky had an unforgettable heart of gold and a kind soul. She was an excellent cook, and took pride in her skills of preparing both traditional Filipino as well as American cuisine. She enjoyed watching cooking shows, horror movies, and murder mystery shows. She loved being in the company of others, chatting and socializing with friends and family. Her favorite pastimes included listening to music, dancing (especially with her husband), and enjoying a good glass of Chardonnay.  Most notably, Raquel dedicated her life to taking care of those around her. One of her greatest accomplishments was not only raising her 8 children, but multiple grandchildren as well while here in the United States.

Above all, Mrs. Perricelli was the family rock and the glue that kept them all together. She will be sadly missed by many.

In addition to her husband, Rocky is survived by her loving children, Rodolfo (Elenita) Reyes, Erlinda Frisch, Virgilio (Flocerfida) Reyes, Stanley (Carol) Daily, Louis Perricelli, Gina (Martin) Turner, Rosemarie (Thomas) Brehm and Terri Cooper. She is also survived by many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her nieces and nephews; and was predeceased by her siblings.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 7 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Saturday at 9:15 A.M. followed by Rocky's Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N.
