Obituary

Raymond Anthony Molinaro, 82 of Medway formerly of Medfield, South Boston and Milton, died May 27, 2026 at the Willows in Medway following a long illness.

Born in Niagara Falls, New York, August 1,1943, the son of the late Dominic and Gladys (Roscetti) Molinaro, Ray was raised in Niagara Falls. He attended Niagara Falls High School and was active in the Catholic Church. Ray also lived in Medfield for many years while raising his daughters. Once his daughters grew up he moved to South Boston and then Milton.

He was a graduate of the University of Buffalo, NY and also received an MBA from Babson College in Business.

Ray had worked for the Gillette Company over 20 years and following his retirement he opened his own film development business with Kodak.

Ray’s best times were spent on family vacations, watching the Buffalo Bills games, and going to the Red Sox games with his children. Later in life he continued these traditions with his grandchildren who were his pride and joy. The grandchildren cherished the many years of adventures with Papa, creating countless fond memories. As deeply as Papa loved his grandchildren, they loved him just as much.

He was a collector of many things and loved photography, watch repairs, coins and stamps. He enjoyed playing golf, taking walks and trips to Niagara Falls.

Over the years, he took great pride in volunteering for the Castle Island Association, the J.F.K. Library, Toys for Tots, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and several other non-profit groups.

He is survived by his beloved daughters, Christa Wykoff and her husband Mark of Jamestown, NC, Amy Love of Franklin, MA and Karen Shannon and her husband Greg of Bellingham, MA.

He is also survived by his brother Dominic (Dick) and wife Mary Molinaro of Rochester, NY and was the brother of the late Andrew and David Molinaro.

Ray is also survived by his cherished 9 grandchildren, Justin, Luke, Joey, Colby, Kaitlyn, Nick, Megan, Kendra & Tommy. Also survived by his nephew Philip and niece Gina.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 15 from 10 - 11 AM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM. Committal prayers and entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.  In lieu of flowers, you can donate to a local non-profit charity in memory of Ray Molinaro.
