Raymond D. Scott, 61, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away at his residence on September 22, 2021 under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born in Newfane, NY, he was the son of Ruth Margaret Weed.

Ray served in the United States Marine Corps from 1977 until his honorable discharge in 1980.  On June 8, 2001, he married Teresa (Leone) Scott in Niagara Falls. Ray was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator with Republic Services in Niagara Falls.  He enjoyed collecting swords, lighthouses, and Marine Corps Memorabilia.  He also loved woodworking, bowling and shooting at the rifle range.

In addition to his wife, Ray is survived by his children, Erin (Richard) Granto, Amanda Grabowski, Mark Crotty, Steve Grabowski, and Raymond Scott, II; his grandchildren, Deckard and Aurora Granto; step-grandchildren, Melody Granto and Frank Granto; as well as his siblings, April White and Barbie Scott, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his sister, Sandy Scott.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 25 from 10 – 12 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 12 PM.  Interment in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY, with U.S. Marines Military honors.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
