Rebecca 'Becky' J. Tomaszewski, 78, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the loving daughter of the late Floyd M. and Jean (Vespucci) Wendell.

Becky graduated from the former LaSalle Senior High School in 1963. On April 27, 1963, she married the love of her life, John Tomaszewski, at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in North Tonawanda, NY. She enjoyed working at Maria's Hallmark and The Bon-Ton for several years.

Becky loved attending Polka Festivals, spending time with her friends and was a garage sale enthusiast. She was also a lifelong Elvis superfan, avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and had a love for sunflowers. Above all, Becky was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who centered her life around her cherished family.

In addition to her husband of 60 years, Becky is survived by her children, Debra (Everett) Tilkins and Stephen (late Kathi) Tomaszewski; her beloved grandchildren, Samantha, Carly, Cameron (Melissa), Nathan (April), Caz and Bryce; several great-grandchildren; her siblings, Geraldine Amendola and Gerald Wendell (Michelle Hall); and her special sister-in-law, Dorothy Atkinson, who was instrumental to her care and brought her to countless medical appointments. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Becky is reunited with her parents, as well as her brother, Floyd A. Wendell.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 16 from 2 – 6 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will begin at 6:00 PM. Interment will be held privately in N.F. Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
