Regina E. Jones, 73, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on January 24, 2025, at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  Born in Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of the late Edmund, Sr. and Mary V. Jones.

Regina came to the area as a child with her family and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  She was employed with the Niagara Falls Board of Education as a cook for 22 years until her retirement in 2013, having the distinction of being the first African-American cook in the district.  Regina also worked for various local restaurants.

Regina loved playing bingo, and had an affinity for numbers.  She was an avid fan of the New York Jets as well as Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors.  A socialite with a strong personality, Regina never met a stranger.  She will be remembered most for her good heart and her signature saying, "Yeah, right".

Regina is survived by her daughters, Adena Johnson and Angela Jones; 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; her siblings, Kelvin (Carolyn) Jones and Tanya (Vance) Adamson, Edmund (Betty) Jones, Jr., as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was sadly predeceased by her son, Frankie Jones, her siblings, Daryl (Wilhelmina) Jones, Eddie Jones, and Joanne Jones, and her great-nephew, Nakari Ryan Parmer.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 22 at 1:00 PM at the Grace Community Ministries, 1562 Willow Avenue Niagara Falls, NY 14305 with Pastor Arthur Todd officiating.
