Reverend Robin (Mullins) Dilbeck, 48, of Wheatfield, NY went home to be with the Lord after a long illness on Saturday February 6, 2010 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born and educated in Toledo, OH she is the daughter of George and Juanita Mullins. On January 29, 1983 she married Bishop James Dilbeck in Hammond, IN.
Reverend Dilbeck devoted her life to ministry and service to others. She was currently serving with her husband, Bishop James Dilbeck, the needs of the North Tonawanda community at River of Life Church of God. It was through her energy and guidance that the church was able to establish a food pantry in conjunction with the Food Bank of Western New York. She also worked to establish other community outreach programs at the church. Reverend Dilbeck had also ministered in other communities in Ohio and Indiana prior to coming to North Tonawanda. In her leisure, she enjoyed scrapbooking and working in her flower garden. Most importantly, Reverend Dilbeck was dedicated to the care of her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
In addition to her parents and husband of twenty-seven years she is survived by daughters Jayme (Stephen) Hinkle of Niagara Falls, NY, Summer (fiancé Matthew Carlson) Dilbeck of Kenmore, NY, step-daughter Charity (Tyrone) Szili of Cleveland, OH; two grandchildren Carson and Jackson; her twin brother Bishop Rodney (Valerie) Mullins of Columbus, OH, brothers, Bishop Rick (Rita) Mullins of Long Island, NY, Larry (Gwen) Mullins of Toledo, OH, George (Wendy) Mullins of Baltimore, MD and many nieces and nephews. She is the daughter-in-law of Beverly (late Cares) Dilbeck of Hammond, IN.
Friends may call Wednesday 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday, February 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Forestview Church of God, 1250 Saunders Settlement Road, Niagara Falls, NY with Bishop Andrew Binda, NY State Administrative Bishop, officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. If desired, memorials may be made to River of Life Church of God, 195 Schenck St., North Tonawanda, NY 14120.
