Rex D. Koytila, 61, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on April 25, 2026 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Jamaica, Queens, New York, he was the son of the late Joseph and Jessie (Abromatis) Koytila.

Rex graduated from high school in the New York City area and continued his education in college there. He relocated to the Niagara Falls area in 2008. For more than 20 years, he proudly owned and operated his antiques business, Koytila Enterprises, where he shared his passion for history and unique collectibles with others.

Rex loved collecting antiques and sports cards, and he enjoyed watching sports—especially cheering on his beloved New York Yankees. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, his children, and his grandson, who brought him tremendous joy.

Rex is survived by his fiancée of 15 years, Tabatha J. Combs; his children, Jesse Koytila, Cynthia Combs, King Koytila, Samantha Combs, and Savannah Combs; his grandson, Niyear Thomas, Jr.; as well as several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
