Richard A. Baumgartner, Jr., 59, of Niagara Falls, NY, formerly of Anaheim, CA, passed away on Friday July 8, 2011. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Richard A. and Lottie (Pitek) Baumgartner, Sr.

Richard graduated from Niagara Falls High School and later earned a Bachelor's Degree at the State University of New York at Oswego. He was employed as a sales representative for various medical supply companies. Richard was an avid sports fan and outdoor enthusiast. He also loved attending concerts.

Richard is survived by his two children, Richard A. Baumgartner III and Erica Baumgartner both of California, one sister Judith (Gary) Horvatits of Clarence, NY as well as his nephews, cousins and good friends.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday July 28th at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Arrangements by M.J.
