Richard J. Calandrelli, Jr., 47, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, April 10th, 2016. Born in Niagara Falls. Richard is survived by mother Deanne (Meranto) Brinda, stepfather John Brinda, fatherRichard Calandrelli, Sr., stepmother Marion (Brown) Calandrelli.
Ricky attended local schools and graduated from Lewiston-Porter High School in 1986. He attended Buffalo State College and Niagara University, where he received his Bachelor's Degree, as well as his Master's Degree in Education. Ricky enjoyed his time as an educator in Tampa, Florida before moving back to Niagara Falls where he was employed by Cataract Travel as a tour guide. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved the New York Yankees. He also enjoyed playing hockey, golf and football.
Ricky had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh with his one-liners and quick wit. He will be truly missed by his many loving friends and family. As always remembered as Ricky Cal.
In addition, Richard is survived by his mother Deanne (Meranto) Brinda, stepfather John Brinda, father Richard Calandrelli, Sr., stepmother Marion (Brown) Calandrelli, sister Reanne (David) Boynton, stepbrother Jeff Brinda, nephew Anthony Brinda and niece Bailey Brinda. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 15th from 2 – 4 & 6 – 7:30 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, where funeral services will follow at 7:30 P.M. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. If desired memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission, P.O.
