Richard Di Pasquale, age 81, of Niagara Falls passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at home under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Dominic and Mary (Prinzi) Di Pasquale.
Richard resided in the area all of his life and graduated from the former Trott Vocational School. Richard served in the Army for six years and was honorably discharged on June 1, 1964. Following his time in the service, Richard continued with his education and received his Bachelor's degree from Buffalo State College and Master's degree in Education from Niagara University. Richard worked as an Industrial Arts Teacher, Science Teacher, Drivers Education Teacher and worked at North Tonawanda and Niagara Falls High School, where he retired from. Richard was a member of the North Tonawanda Eagles Club and Country Couples Dance Club. He also had a passion for traveling.
Richard is survived by his companion of twenty-one years, Chong Friend; his children, Richard (Sue) Di Pasquale, Debora (Bruce) Lawson and Samuel (Nancy) Di Pasquale; seven grandchildren; two siblings, Rosie (late Dino) Ridolfi and Mary Price. Richard is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Samuel Di Pasquale and Phillip Di Pasquale.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, February 19th from 4 – 6 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M., with Military Honors to conclude.
