Richard L. Barone (Rick), 59 of Margate, FL passed away on May 21, 2018.  Born September 3, 1958 in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Dr. Louis S. and June M. (Specht) Barone.  Richard was raised in Lewiston, NY and attended Niagara- Wheatfield High School.

Rick moved to Florida in 1987 to pursue his career as a musician.  He was an accomplished musician and amazed his listeners with his guitar playing, singing and song writing.  Rick was known for his incredible big smile and willingness to always help others.  Rick had a positive outlook on life, a cheerful disposition and great sense of humor.

He had a passion for playing tennis and enjoyed visiting his family in New York, especially his nieces and nephews who he mentored in music.  When Rick would come back home, his first stop was always Viola's subs for a steak and cheese.

In addition to his parents, Rick is survived by his four brothers, David J. (Terie) Barone, Samuel P. Barone, Christopher P. (Patricia) Barone and Joel S. Barone, his close friends Orly Penate and Sean Paul Powell, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his loving sister, LuAnn Spurback.
