Rita B. LaValley, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on March 8, 2020 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Sahagian) Bedrosian.

Ritata, as she was affectionately known, was employed as a Medical Receptionist at Monroe Medical Society in Rochester, NY.  She enjoyed jazz music, dancing, and Frank Sinatra.  She loved spending time with her family, especially back in the day, at the Harbor Square Apartments on the Lake in Rochester.  Above all, she will be remembered for her infectious laugh and her heart of gold.

Rita is survived by her son, Charles H. LaValley, her grandson, Zachary C. LaValley, her siblings, Sada (late Arsen) Garijanian, Marjorie Bedrosian, and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harold, and her sister, Salbie Denniston.

There will be no prior visitation.  Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, 5282 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, NY 14092.  Arrangements by M.J.
