Robert L. Baker, 68, of the Town of Niagara, passed away on Thursday January 16, 2014 at his residence. Born in Oakland, CA he was the son of the late Leeland and Beatrice (Stanley) Baker.

Robert's family moved to Franklinville, NY when he was a baby and then later lived in Buffalo, NY. When he was a teenager, he came to the Niagara Falls area where he lived until the present time. He worked as a Resident Manager at Mt. Eagle Ridge Apartments in Niagara Falls. Robert loved music and belonged to a local band where he preformed many Elvis Presley and Ricky Nelson songs. He also collected movies and enjoyed playing computer games. Robert was very handy and had a passion for fixing, building and creating various things.

Robert is survived by four children Joseph Baker of Buffalo, NY; Nicole (Robert) Maines, Christopher Baker and Cory Baker all of Niagara Falls, NY; six grandchildren, one sister Shirley Cruz of Buffalo, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one sister Florence (late Juan) Cruz.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the M.J.Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Monday January 20th at 11 a.m. with Rev. Daniel Mann officiating. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
