Robert J. 'Bob' Colletti, Jr., 87, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on October 4, 2024. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the beloved son of the late Robert J. Colletti Sr. and Lucille (Janese) Colletti.

Bob was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls where he graduated from LaSalle High School. On July 5, 1955 he enlisted in the United States Air Force, and married the love of his life, Mary (Krawczyk) Colletti at the Niagara Falls Air Force Base on July 14, 1956. He was honorably discharged in 1960 after receiving the Air Force Longevity Service Award.

Bob was employed in the receiving department of the Carborundum Company in Niagara Falls for over 30 years prior to his retirement. He formerly served as the Niagara Falls Bingo Inspector and coached the Honey's Girls Softball Team. He was also an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed playing cards.

Mr. C, as he was also affectionally known as, loved sitting on his porch and serving coffee to his loving 31st Street family, as well as providing treats to the neighborhood dogs. The door was always open at the Colletti home for friends and relatives to visit.

Above all, Bob dedicated his life to being a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

In addition to Mary, his wife of 68 years, Mr. Colletti is survived by his two daughters, Linda (Michael) Sette and Sharon Colletti; his granddaughter, Mia (Zach) Sette-Buresch who were his pride and joy; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and his dear 31st Street family. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Loretta (late John) DeGregorio and his cherished dogs, Goldie and Mandy.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 9 from 2 – 5 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where services with Military honors will begin at 5:00 PM.
