Robert P. "Bobby" Birely, 73, of Lockport, NY, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026, at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY.  Born in Newfane, NY, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Elizabeth (Wheeler) Birely.

Bobby was a graduate of Wilson High School. On December 12, 2013, he married the love of his life, Rita N. (DiFeo) Birely. Bobby dedicated more than 20 years of service as a bus driver with Niagara Falls Coach Lines, retiring in 2019. He proudly served in the United States Air Force as Security Police in Tacoma, WA from 1975 until his discharge in 1979. Throughout his life, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, attending war reenactments, and buying and selling antiques. He was known for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor, traits that brought smiles and laughter to all who knew him.

In addition to his wife of nearly 13 years, Bobby is survived by his son, Jason (Maribel) Birely; his stepchildren, Stephanie Stenzel, Theresa Stenzel, and Christopher Stenzel; seven grandchildren; his brother, Francis Birely; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
