Robert 'Bob' Fera, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his beloved family. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Stanley and Elmirinda 'Millie' (D'Ambrosio) Fera; and the loving husband of 71 years to the late Toni (Guaetta) Fera.

Bob was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and a graduate of Trott Vocational High School. He was employed with the Carpenters Union #280 for many years and later retired from the City of Niagara Falls trades department. Following his retirement, Bob volunteered his time on the coffee cart at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for 22 years.

Bob was a devout Catholic and lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, where he served as a Eucharist Minister and Usher for 65 years. He was also a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus.

Bob enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with his wife, especially visiting his children and their families. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and an active bowler in his younger years. He loved his morning routine of going to the 8 am Mass at St Joseph's and then a hearty breakfast with his brother, family members and friends at Marketside.

Above all, Bob centered his life around his family and cherished the time spent with them. He loved traveling to his children's homes where he performed many home improvements using his carpentry skills. His grandchildren and great grandchildren especially loved the visits as he humored them endlessly with impersonations from old movies and creations of his own making.

Mr. Fera is survived by his children, Mark (Anne), Rob (Mindy), Joy (Rick, deceased), William (Ann Marie) and Ann Elizabeth (Steve); his loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Dustin and Sarabeth Fera, Erin (Andy) Fera-Stein (children, Antonia and Miles), David (Kelly) Fera (children, Rosemary and Bobby), Ricky (Christin) Knack (children, Charley and Ben), Heather Knack (children, Tyler, Brenna, Ethan, Noah and Aidan), Josh Knack, Stephanie Fera, Seth Fera Schanes, Sasha (Paul) Fera Schanes (child, Ansel). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his twin brother, Ernest (Josephine 'Josi') Fera and his brother, Anthony (late Elvira) Fera, Sr.

Visitation will be Monday, November 21 from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Bob's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
