Robert A. McMullen, age 89, of Ransomville, NY and formerly of Kenmore, NY, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021. Born in Cresson, PA, he was the son of the late Albert and Pearl (Frontz) McMullen; beloved husband of Mary (Clossin) McMullen, whom he married on July 31, 1953 in Winchester, VA.

Robert was raised in Pennsylvania where he graduated from High School. He served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1957. Following his discharge, Robert moved to Tonawanda with his wife and was employed as a foreman at Spaulding Fibre in Tonawanda.

Robert was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a longtime, proud member of the NRA. Robert was a handyman, who loved helping out his family and friends fix just about anything. Above all, Robert centered his life around his loving family.

Mr. McMullen is survived by his children, Robert (Susan) McMullen, Jr., Deborah (James) Hurlburt, David (Gloria) McMullen, Kim (James) Jones and Mary Ann (Steven) Jones; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his beloved great-grandson, Jacob David McMullen, as well as his siblings, Alda (late Andrew) Plewa, Zelda (late William) Carrig, John (Louise) McMullen, Ruby (Howard) Conway, Louise (Melvin) Ball, and Francis (late Patricia) McMullen.
