Robert F. Scibilia, 66, of Niagara Falls, NY, took his last breath at 2:48 AM on January 17, 2020 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY in the arms of his two sons, surrounded by his siblings.  Born in Niagara Falls in 1953, he was the son of the late Anthony J. and Jeanette A. (Desiderio) Scibilia.

Robert was raised on 90 ^th Street and graduated from LaSalle High School where he was quarterback of the football team.  He attended SUNY Plattsburgh, where he studied Education and played football.

He was self-employed as a Massage Therapist in the Western NY area for thirty years.  Through massage, he not only helped to alleviate pain, he became a close friend to so many of his clients. Bob was also a talented musician, playing guitar for local events and teaching occasional students.  Always active and passionate about health, he loved to cycle, play tennis, swim, and make fresh juices and smoothies. He did however always temper his love for wellness with the regular Pepsi and cigar.

Most importantly, Bob was known for his kindness, compassion and funny quirks.  He took a disposable camera with him everywhere he went, could find humor in any situation, and made ordinary events special.

Robert is survived by his children, Marc (Mindy) Scibilia and Matthew Scibilia; his granddaughter, Naomi Scibilia; his siblings, Michael (Cindy) Scibilia, Lisa (late Kevin) Scibilia Higgins, and Anthony R. Scibilia; his former spouse, Jeannine Scibilia, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 27 at 10:00 AM at Cornerstone Church, 1290 Whitehaven Road, Grand Island, NY 14072.  Entombment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr, Lockport, NY 14094.  Arrangements by M.J.
