Robert E. Talladay, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Monday March 7, 2011 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Sidney and Maud (Poole) Talladay.

Robert was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. On May 8, 1948 he married Palma M. (Moran) Talladay in Niagara Falls, NY. Mrs. Talladay predeceased him on November 17, 1998. He was employed at the former International Paper Co. in Niagara Falls, NY and later at Harrison Radiator in Lockport, NY until retiring in 1990. Robert enjoyed woodworking projects, painting and loved playing cards. He was a diehard N.Y. Yankees fan as well as an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills. Robert loved his dog "Rocky" and liked spending time with him.

Mr. Talladay is survived by one son Brian R. Talladay of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the brother-in-law of Mary (late Michael) Fedak of Niagara Falls, NY; Antonette (Michael) Narron of Florida, Joseph Frescino of Grand Island, NY and John (Dorothy) Frescino of Lewiston, NY. He was predeceased by two sisters Elsie (late Alton) Sale and Mildred (late Emil) Kajda; one sister-in-law Diane Frescino and was the son in law of the late Vincent and Assunta Frescino.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 3 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday March 10th at 10 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane R. Klizek officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Donations in Mr. Talladay's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
