Roberta "Bobbi" Ann (nee Watson) Courts, age 75, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls on July 20, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Clinton and Esther (Pratt) Watson.

A lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, she was a graduate of Sacred Heart Elementary and Niagara Falls High School. On July 22, 1967, she married her beloved husband of 52 years, Wayne A. Courts at Sacred Heart Church in Niagara Falls.

Roberta, Bobbi to those who loved her, retired from the Niagara Falls Board of Education in 2003. She spent her career in the Harry F. Abate Elementary School library and often spoke of her memories helping children learn to read and develop a love for books.

She enjoyed golfing in her younger years and also loved spending time at the casino which she fondly referred to as her "exercise." Above all else, she cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Roberta is survived by her husband over 52 years, Wayne A. Courts; her son Matthew (Ann) Courts of Lewiston, NY; two grandchildren, Jackson and Emily Courts; daughter-in-law, Antolene Jenczewski; and sisters, Pat (Joe) Sotak of Geneseo and Jane (late Roy) Wilson of Las Vegas, NV. She was the sister-in-law of Ronald (Barbara) Courts of Niagara Falls, Luigi Marinelli of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Wolfgang Strohbach of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Josephine Watson of Lakeview, NY. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving son, Wayne D. Courts; siblings, Mary Marinelli, Shirley Strohbach, Frances (late Bill) Milks, Robert Watson, Bill (late Marge) Watson and Arlene Colao.
