Roberta June Walker, 69, of North Gate Healthcare Facility, North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on September 17, 2022 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by loved ones.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Richard O. and Dorothy M. (Wilkinson) Fleck.

Roberta attended local schools and graduated from LaSalle High School in 1971.  Roberta met many lifelong friends in the 101 ^st Street neighborhood of Love Canal.  It is there where she met the love of her life Clarence, whom she married on June 5, 1971.  Mr. Walker predeceased her on August 24, 2018.  After a honey moon in the Pocono Mountains, Clarence and Roberta began their life together in their Niagara Falls Home.  Together they enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, Sunday drives in their classic cars and spoiling their grandchildren.  Roberta worked as a CNA for the former Niagara Geriatric Center until a medical retirement in 1993.  Roberta was a member of the Summit View Place resident's association.  She spent most of her days crafting, organizing get-togethers, and decorating her apartment complex inside and out.

Roberta is survived by her children, Clarence (Angela) Walker, Tracy (David) St. Onge and Richard A. (Jeanine) Walker; her grandchildren Celsey (Chris) St. Onge-Smith, Hailey St. Onge, Brianna Walker, Mackenzie St. Onge, Brandon Hubler, Richie, Jacob and Emma Walker; her brothers, Edward (Amelia) Fleck, Richard (Deborah) Fleck and Gary Fleck; brothers and sisters in law, Patricia (William) Swanson, Linda Keil, Barbara Smith, Karl Walker, Susan Walker and Lisa (Gerald) Wilson as well as several nieces nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.  In addition to her loving husband, she was predeceased by her brothers-in-law, Donald Walker, Robert Smith and Thomas Walker, sister-in-law, Linda Walker, her nephew Karl Walker and her in-laws Clarence and Irene Walker.

The family would like to recognize the care she received at Northgate Healthcare Facility where she was treated as family by many of the staff members and the special bond she formed with her friend, Tatiana Azofeifa-Retana.  Tatiana facilitated carrying out her bucket list items and lovingly cared for Roberta until her last breath.

There will be no prior visitation.  Please assemble for a celebration of Roberta's life which will be held on Saturday, September 24 at 12 Noon at M.J.
