Ronald C. DeLuca, 80 of Lockport, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on December 11, 2016 at Briarwood Manor in Lockport, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Joseph and Eileen (Webb) DeLuca.

Ronald attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. He later served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Ron moved to Florida in the early 1970's and returned to the area in the mid 1990's. He was an avid sports fan and outstanding athlete during high school, excelling in baseball and basketball. He continued to play these sports throughout his life in various local leagues. Ron was inducted into the Niagara Falls Sports Hall of Fame in recognition of all his athletic achievements. He was a passionate Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed playing handball at the Niagara Falls Y.M.C.A.

Ronald is survived by one daughter Ronni (Michael) McGrath, three grandchildren, Jacob, Abigail and Alyssa; his former wife Beverly Bocek and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by two brothers John (Joan of Niagara Falls, NY) DeLuca and Frederick "Rico" (late Elizabeth) DeLuca.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where a funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Disable American Veterans VA Regional Office, 111 West Huron, Room 815C, Buffalo, NY 14202.
