Ronald McNerney, 73, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015 at his residence while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Florence and Margaret (Bathgate) McNerney.

Ronald, a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY, attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. He was employed as a serviceman at Delphi Harrison Radiator in Lockport, NY for thirty two years. In his leisure time he enjoyed cooking, playing Bingo and watching the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees. But Ron's greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Ronald is survived by his wife Eleanor (Montani) McNerney, nine children Kevin (Marlene) Loughnane of Seaforth, Ontario, Canada, Shannon McNerney, Erin McNerney, Patricia (Edward) Patterson, Kristina (Vintaun) Weathers, Dawn (Larry) Hartwig all of Niagara Falls, NY; William LaMoy of Lewiston, NY, Kim (Nick) Edwards of Youngstown, NY and Dennis Loughnane of Haiti; nineteen grandchildren and was predeceased by two grandchildren. He is also survived by five great grandchildren; one sister Phyllis (Robert) Donovan of Lewiston, NY, one brother Michael (Barbara) McNerney of Lewiston, NY; his brother-in-law Anthony Montani of Niagara Falls, NY; his sister-in-law Lisa (John) Ognebene of Niagara Falls, NY and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Saturday September 19th from 1 – 5:30 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY followed by a funeral service at 5:30 p.m.with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating.
