Ronald R. "Ron" Rice, 68, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Alice (Bax) Rice.

Ron was a 1975 graduate of Bishop Duffy High School and later attended Niagara County Community College. On October 18, 1986, he married Sue A. (DiPasquale) Rice, who sadly predeceased him on May 24, 2017 after more than 30 years of marriage.

Ron dedicated 30 years of his career as a Corporate Trainer with 3M Corporation in Tonawanda, NY, retiring in 2021. During his tenure, he proudly served on the 3M Corporate Team during union contract negotiations. Beyond his professional life, Ron was deeply involved in his community as Harbor Master at the Lewiston Landing Park. He loved being on his boat, fishing, and sharing those moments with family and friends. Above all, Ron lived for his family, especially his cherished grandchildren.

Ron is survived by his son, Christopher (Jordan) Rice; his grandchildren, Ellie and Tatum; his beloved companion, Candice Cerrone; his siblings, Dr. Charles (Deborah) Rice and Lorraine (Lee) Keener; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin on Wednesday at 9 AM, followed by Ron's Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Peter R.C. Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY 14092.
