Ronald Socko, 81, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Shamokin, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph Socko and Eleanor (nee Ruthkowski) Kolodziej.

Ron was raised in Pennsylvania where he attended local schools and graduated from high school. He moved to Niagara Falls following high school to begin working on the local power project, where he was employed as a rock scaler. He was then employed at Freeway Contracting and later owned and operated Socko Sewer Services, Socko Contracting and Socko Development for many years.

Ron was predeceased by his loving companion of many years, Bonnie Schott and is survived by her son, Shawn (Jennifer) Schott.
