Rosalia DiGregorio, 79, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family at her residence while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Palermo, Sicily, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Concetta Zanghi.

Rosalia was raised in Italy and moved to Niagara Falls in 1969. She married her loving husband, Salvatore DiGregorio, Jr. at Mt. Carmel Church on October 25, 1969. Mr. DiGregorio passed away in 2007 after 38 memorable years together.

Rosalia began working at the Como Restaurant and St. Teresa's School. She later retired from Niagara University as a housekeeper for the Vincentian priests at Meade Hall after many years.

Rosalia was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Cristoforo Colombo Society, the Niagara Falls Women's Bocce League at Hyde Park, and the John Duke Senior Center. She was also a devout Catholic and faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

Rosalia enjoyed tending to her garden, as well as cooking, crocheting and watching Dancing with the Stars. Above all, Rosalia cherished the time spent with her family.

Mrs. DiGregorio is survived by her children, David DiGregorio, Richard DiGregorio (Stephanie), Michael (Ana) DiGregorio and Rosalynn (Aaron) Harris; her grandchildren, Chelsea, Marisa, Alexandria, Lauren, Salvatore, Jacob, Richard Jr., Meadow and Karissa (Adam); her great-grandchildren, Serenity, Devin, Layden and Alannah; her beloved siblings in Sicily and other parts of Italy, as well as her special cousin, Julie Militello; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, January 26 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin Saturday at 9:15 AM followed by Rosalia's Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Holy Family Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
