Rosalind DiBacco, 56, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the loving daughter of Donato "Don" and Janice (Abray) DiBacco.
Rosalind graduated from Sweet Home High School and obtained her Associate's Degree from Niagara County Community College. She was a current board member for the Village of Lewiston and former member of the Niagara County Sheriff's Office Mounted Division.
Rosalind was an avid horseback rider and was fortunate enough to own her own horses throughout the years. She also enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson and was a longtime member of local motorcycle clubs in the area.
Rosalind was a talented glassmaker and craftsman. She enjoyed building furniture, remodeling and wood working. Above all, Rosalind had great sense of humor and zest for life. She will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, Rosalind is survived by her beloved sister, Nicole (John) Merletti; her cherished nephew, Luke Merletti, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 6
th
from 6 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will be celebrated at 7:00 P.M. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Flowers are graciously declined.
