Rosalyn A. (Chirumblo) Evans, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY was gently taken from us by God on Monday February 13, 2012 surrounded by her family. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Dominick and Mary Louise (Lanza) Chirumblo.

Rosalyn was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. On January 11, 1947 she married William H. 'Rocky' Evans at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls. Mr. Evans predeceased her on April 17, 1993. Rosalyn enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends, crocheting and just being the best mother, grandmother, nana, sister, aunt and friend. To know her was to love her.

Rosalyn is survived by three children Albert (Rebecca) Evans of Tempe, AZ; MaryLouise (Joseph) Pallaci and Alfrietta Mattuccilli both of Niagara Falls, NY; seven grandchildren Michael (Denise) Pallaci, Marla (Anthony) Pietrangeli, Karen (Billy) Smith, Christopher Evans, Joseph (Katie) Pallaci, Angela (Ron) Strough and Kristi Costanzo (fiancé John Belardi) and was Nana to fourteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Theresa Chirumblo of Niagara Falls, NY; her lifelong friend Mary Brode and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four sisters Mary Chirumblo, Antoinette (late Anthony) Filippelli, Pauline Chirumblo, Angeline (late Joseph) Mattuccilli and one brother Samuel Chirumblo.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday February 16th at 10 a.m. in St. Vincent DePaul at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Flowers are graciously declined.
