Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother

Rose M.(Fiorello)Baldassarre, 94, of Niagara Falls, NY went home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2010. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Domiano and Grace (Mangano) Fiorello.

Rose was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area and attended local schools. On April 25, 1936 she married Ennio C. Baldassarre at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Baldassarre predeceased her on January 27, 1995. Rose was a lifelong member as well as one of the original members of the Ladies Cristoforo Colombo Society in Niagara Falls. She was also a member of St. Joseph Church, their Madonna DelPerpetuo Soccorso Society and the Catholic War Veterans Women's Auxiliary also in Niagara Falls. Rose's life was centered around her family and she truly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. The family truly appreciates the tender loving care extended to Rose by the entire staff at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility.

Mrs. Baldassarre is survived by one daughter Gloria J. (Carl W.) Albion of Youngstown, NY and was predeceased by one daughter Irene F. (Richard F. Sr. of Niagara Falls, NY) Marasco. She is also survived by four grandchildren Robert (Sandy) Marasco, Grace Anne Albion, Robin K. (Brian) Snider, Patrick (fiance Irisa Barry) Albion; predeceased by two grandchildren Richard F. Marasco Jr and Rosemary Marasco (Al) Giovannucci. She is survived by five great grandchildren Adam Marasco, Sarah Ginter, Scott Ginter, Sophia Rose Snider and Trent William Snider and great-great grandson Santino. She is also survived by one sister Frances (Ted) Mendelsohn of Niagara Falls, NY, caring nieces Donna, Sharyn, and Nancy, godson Christopher Baldassarre, goddaughter Sandra Tecchio as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also predeceased by two sisters late Marie (late Joseph) Sorice, late Carol (Eugene of Niagara Falls, NY) Badolato and one brother Salvatore Fiorello.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where services will begin on Friday June 11th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary & Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
