Rose M. Cozzi, 92 of Niagara Falls, New York died Saturday December 5, 2009 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston NY. Born in Colver, Pa she was the daughter of the late Toberio "Toby" and Giovanna "Jenny" (Corsaro) Mash.

Rose was educated in Ebensburg, Pa where she married her husband Joseph P. Cozzi February 7, 1936 and they moved to Niagara Falls in 1941. Her husband predeceased her June 6, 1997. Rose was an active member of Power City Lodge #158 where she enjoyed singing and being involved with their entertainment. She also bowled in various leagues in the area. Rose enjoyed cooking and was known to be a great storyteller but most of all, Rose was a down to earth lady whose home was always open to everyone.

Rose is survived by her three children, Shirley Tier of Niagara Falls, NY; Lewis Cozzi of Andover, NY and Joseph Cozzi of Kissimmee, Fla. Grandmother of four, Paula Tier (John Eric Hagerman), Linda (Carl) Walker, Lori (Danny) Travis and David (Susan) Tier. She was also survived by eight great grand children, one great great grandson, a sister, Millie of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband, Rose was predeceased by one great grandson, three brothers, Edward (late Alice) Mash, Orlando (Late Sylvia) Mash and Attillio (Mary of Hollywood Fla.) Mash, and one sister, Viola Farugia.

Friends may call at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON FUNERAL CHAPEL 468 19TH STREET, NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK Tuesday from 3-8pm where funeral services will be held Wednesday December 9th at 10:30am with Rev. Stewart Lindsay O.S.F S. officiating. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
