Rose Marie (Zoda) Curtis, 74, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on August 30, 2017 at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo surrounded by her family.  Born on October 4, 1942 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Castiglia) Zoda.

Rose Marie was raised in Niagara Falls and attended local schools.  On June 2, 1962, she married George E. Curtis, Sr.  Mr. Curtis predeceased her on January 26, 1999.  She was employed at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY and retired after many years of service.  She was an active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Parish at St. Leo's Site in the Town of Niagara, where she was an active member of their Alter and Rosary Society since 1981.  Rose Marie loved Bingo, going to the casino, and going to girls night out dinners with her family.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed as a wonderful mom, grandmother, aunt and friend.

Rose Marie is survived by three children, Charlotte (Tony) Trusello, George (Shari) Curtis, and Brian (Michele) Curtis, twelve grandchildren, her sister in-law, Andrea (Joseph) Zoda and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband, Mrs. Curtis was predeceased by her siblings, Lucille R. Cicero, Santo (late Rose) Zoda, Salvatore (late Mary) Zoda, Joseph Zoda, and Charles (late Norma) Zoda.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 3 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS where funeral services will begin on Saturday, September 2 ^nd at 9:15 AM, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vincent De Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY.
