Rose A. (Villani) DiRamio, 96, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Niagara Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Niagara Falls, NY. Born in Wishaw, PA she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Elvira (Pagliarini) Villani.

Rose moved to the Niagara Falls area as a child with her family. On March 22, 1941 she married Daniel A. DiRamio at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls. She was employed by the former Jenss Department Store on Main Street in Niagara Falls as seamstress in their Drapery Department. She later worked at Viola's Submarine Shop on Elmwood Avenue also in Niagara Falls until her retirement. Rose was a talented seamstress who enjoyed sewing, crocheting and ceramics. Above all, Rose centered her life around her family.

In addition to her husband of seventy three years, Rose is survived by two sons, Daniel A. (Maryann) DiRamio of Sanborn, NY, Douglas A. DiRamio of Niagara Falls, NY and was predeceased by one son Dennis F. DiRamio on June 30, 1999. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Nikki DiRamio, Dana DiRamio, Julie DiRamio, Rachel (Joseph LaSpada) DiRamio, Patty Jo DiRamio, DeAnna DiRamio and Dennis DiRamio, as well as many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by five brothers and five sisters, Lil (Irene of Niagara Falls, NY) Villani, Pauline (late Earl) Burns, Guido (late Lorraine) (Rita of the Town of Niagara) Villani, James (late Laverne) Villani, Joseph (late Mary) Villani, Mary (late Anthony "Red") Appoloney, Angela (late Nick) Ange, Freda (late Nick) Ferraro, Christopher (late Kay) Villani and Catherine "Kay" Villani.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 27th from 9 – 11:15 a.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin at 11:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
