Rose (Polito) Kaczowski, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Josephine Polito; and loving wife of the late Paul F. Kaczowski, Sr.

Rose attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On September 21, 1944 she enlisted in the United States Coast Guard and served her country during World War II until her honorable discharge on May 11, 1946. She was employed at N.F. Memorial Medical Center for many years as a secretary until her retirement in 1985.

Above all, Rose will be remembered by her family as being the greatest mother and grandmother anyone could ever hope for. She loved her family very much and will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Mrs. Kaczowski is survived by three children, Peter (Cindy) Kaczowski of Niagara Falls, NY, Kyle (Linda) Kaczowski of San Diego, CA and Jon (Jennifer) Kaczowski of Las Vegas, NV, and was predeceased by one son, Paul F. Kaczowski, Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren Michael, Zachary and Nicholas Kaczowski; one sister, Florence White, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and son, she was predeceased by her brother, Donald (Donna Jean) Polito and her sister, Catherine Lecksell.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Niagara Hospice House for the exceptional care and compassion given to their mother during her time of need.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend Rose's Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 8th at 12 Noon in St. Vincent De Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery with Military Honors will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY.
