Rose E. (Morganti) Lore, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on June 29, 2021 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Rosa (Chiazzese) Morganti and the second to the youngest of 13 children.

Rose was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1946.  On September 11, 1950, she married Anthony J. 'Tony' Lore at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls.  Mr. Lore predeceased her on July 29, 2005.  Rose's working career began in the 1940's at the Dixie Hat Shop followed by the former Power City Bank, Jenss Department Store, Grants Dept Store and then worked at Marine Midland Bank (HSBC) for 13 years retiring in 1992. During her employment she received a "Friendly Teller" award.

Rose belonged to 2 bowling leagues for many years. She served for the girl scouts and cub scouts and also as a treasurer for the Parent Group at Ferry Avenue School. During the last 15 years she enjoyed volunteering at ArtPark and was active at the Duke Senior Center. She enjoyed playing an on-line game site with people from all over the world. She belonged to a Card Club for many years and enjoyed playing card games with family and friends up until very recently.  Rose enjoyed visits with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling with family to Florida, Hawaii and to Europe visiting Rome, the Vatican, France & Switzerland.

Rose is survived by her children, Denise DeSimone, Charlie (Satomi) Lore, and Joanne (Michael) Grant; her grandchildren, Michael (Kristina) DeSimone, Tom (Melissa) DeSimone, Christina (Lee) Criswell, Alec (Sarah) Newtown, and Yuko Rose Lore; 7 great-grandchildren; her sister, Mary (late William) Ryan, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her siblings, Charlie Morganti, Carmen (late Josephine) Morganti, Phillip (late Dorothea) Morgante, Samuel (late Viola) Morganti, James (late Lou) Morganti, Diego (Dick) Morganti, Joseph Morganti, Anthony (late Beatrice) Morganti, Clara (late Carl) Mayhue, Carmella (late William) Archbold, and Vera (late John) MacDonald.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 6 from 10 – 11:15 AM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where prayers will begin at 11:15 followed by Rose's Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Parish at 12 Noon at Mt. Carmel Church, 27 ^th and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.  Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
