Rose M. (Palmeri) Oppedisano, 92, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, died on Thursday April 15, 2010 at Niagara Lutheran Home in Buffalo, NY. She was born in Carbondale, PA the daughter of the late Phillip and Josephine (Lorito) Palmeri.

On October 15, 1941 she married Louis Oppedisano in Brooklyn, NY. Mr. Oppedisano predeceased her in 1990. Rose was employed at Green Ballbearing Company in Cleveland, OH as a machine operator and retired in the early 1970's after twenty five years of service. She returned to the Niagara Falls, NY area in 2003. Rose enjoyed walking and spending time with her family.

Rose is survived by one brother Stephen (Jean) Palmeri of Niagara Falls, NY; one sister Jennie (late Michael) Notte of Belleville, NJ and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother James M. (late Matilda "Millie") Palmiero and two sisters Antoinette "Nina" (late Pat) Surace and Ann (late Frank) Cerra.

There will be no prior visitation. Private funeral services and interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY will be held on Saturday April 17th with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Arrangements by M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY.
