Rose E. (Brindisi ) Palazzo, 95 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Monday November 7, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Adeline Brindisi.

Rose was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls. She attended local schools and was the first in her family to graduate from Niagara Falls High School. On April 17, 1937, she married Onofrio 'Murphy' Palazzo. Mr. Palazzo predeceased her on May 29, 1998. Rose enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed family gatherings and always had her door open to everyone. Rose will be remembered for her kind heart, positive attitude and hard work.

Mrs. Palazzo is survived by her sons, Eugene O. (Sondra) Palazzo of Leesburg, VA, Ralph J. (Kathy) Palazzo, James N. (Filomena) Palazzo both of Niagara Falls, NY , her nephew Gerald (Dawn) Zipp and Onofrio's son, Danny Palazzo. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Eugene's children, Mark Palazzo, James (Carol) Palazzo, Linda (Bill) Xourias, Michael (Carol) Palazzo, Ralph's children, Ronald Palazzo, Rose Terrie Palazzo, Angela (Blake) Bowers, Frank, Jackie and Joey, James' Children, Paul Palazzo, Rosemarie (Russell) Shemik and Murphy Palazzo, her great-grandchildren, Courtney, Michelle, Michael, Joseph, Robert, Alex, Nicholas, George, Kelly, Little Nick, Ana, Elaina, Sam, Kirsten, Nicholas, Christopher and Thomas, her nephews, Tom (Mary) Brindisi and Rick (Angela) Brindisi, as well as in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is also predeceased by a sister Gertrude (late Ralph) Zipp and brother James (late Cecelia) Brindisi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will begin at 8:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish ay our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 27th Street and Independence Ave. Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY.
