Rose A. Scaletta, 96, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Elderwood at Williamsville in Williamsville, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Tomasina (Zabaldo) Scaletta.

Rose was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area and attended local schools. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Jenss Department Store in Niagara Falls, NY. In her younger years she enjoyed traveling and especially liked taking trips to Atlantic City, NJ.

Rose was predeceased by her brothers, Sam A. Scaletta and Dominic Scaletta and her special cousin Mary (Leone) Daly. She is survived by her cousins, Carol Fritsch and Donald S. (Lynn) Daly as well as many other cousins

Visitation will be on Monday January 18th from 9 – 10 a.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 259 Fourth Street, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association of WNY, 2805 Wehrle Drive, Ste. 6, Williamsville, NY 14221.
