Rose Marie (Rotundo) Slipko, 67, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Friday August 7, 2009 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Louis J. and Rose J. (Micon) Rotundo.

Rose Marie, a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY, attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On December 23, 1961 she married Gordon Slipko, Sr. Rose Marie had many interests including gardening, oil painting, china painting, cooking and decorating. She also liked traveling, fishing, shopping and dining out. Most of all Rose Marie enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren who will always remember her famous words to them "Watch the corners!"

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Slipko is survived by three children Gordon (Teresa) Slipko, Jr.; Tina (Thomas) Johnston and Mara (Peter) Neville all of Niagara Falls, NY; seven grandchildren Nicole Marie Slipko, Natalie Rose Slipko, Thomas Gordon Johnston, Louis Joseph Johnston, Rose Marie Neville, Peter Gordon Neville and Emma Rose Neville all of Niagara Falls, NY; one sister Teresa (Stan) Wojton of Niagara Falls, NY and two nephews Little Stan Wojton and Nick Wojton both of Niagara Falls, NY.

Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Memorial donations may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc., 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
