Rose R. (Ruggiero) Vicino, 86 of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015 at Elderwood at Riverwood in Grand Island, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Felice and Angela (Desire) Ruggiero.

Rose was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. On June 30, 1951 she married Nicola Vicino at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls. Mr. Vicino predeceased her in 1996. Rose was a lifelong devoted member of St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls and was also a recipient of the Pine Avenue Business Association Citadini Speciale Award. She was an avid fan of the N.Y. Yankees and Buffalo Bills. But most important to Rose was her family, who she centered her life around.

Rose is survived by one son, Felix (Susie) Vicino of Port Ludlow, WA, two daughters, Angela (Vito) Mecca of Grand Island, NY and Josephine "JoJo" Vicino of Niagara Falls, NY and was predeceased by her son Anthony Vicino in 1973. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Christine Vicino, Katie (Robbie) Davison, Frank Accardo and Nicholas Accardo; two brothers Alex (Ruth) Ruggiero of Hayes, VA and Frank (Katherine) Ruggiero of Niagara Falls, NY; her half sister Flora Stone of Niagara Falls, NY and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by one brother William (late Agnes) Ruggiero and Mary (late Daniel) Bax.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-8 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday May 22nd at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen's Church, 2100 Baseline Road, Grand Island, NY with Rev. Lynn Shumway officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
